Abstract: This study analyzes how ergonomics and preventive physiotherapy, examined in a review of clinical studies, influence pain, functionality, and absenteeism in the context of worker health. The rationale stems from the increase in musculoskeletal disorders and the associated human and economic burden, which puts pressure on services and organizations. The aim is to evaluate to what extent ergonomics programs with a structured design, combining specific exercises and postural variation, can reduce complaints and prevent more invasive outcomes. To this end, recent randomized clinical trials, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses were included, covering office populations, industrial environments, and hospital units. In general, a reduction in cervical and lumbar pain, improved work capacity, and less fatigue at the end of the workday were observed, in addition to a decrease in absences; this effect is clearer when workstation adjustments are combined with targeted exercises, active breaks, and participatory ergonomics. A practical point deserves mention: physiotherapy clinics in the workplace tend to have high adherence and a rapid response, which speeds up initial gains. There are also signs of cost savings, especially by delaying invasive procedures and reducing the use of analgesics; this is indicative of systemic benefit. In the discussions, the need for continuity, institutional support, and adherence stands out, without losing sight of methodological limitations, such as small samples and short follow-ups. The results, therefore, indicate that the integration between physiotherapy and ergonomics reinforces the promotion of occupational health and still requires more robust studies to establish sustainable guidelines.
