Abstract: SummaryWe intend to identify and discuss the theoretical foundations that support this cooperative approach, relating it to contemporary pedagogical practices. Cooperative education can be seen as an extension of this thinking in a world of constant transformation, highlighting the need for educational models that promote collaboration and the co-creation of knowledge more than ever. It describes the current state of cooperative education, but also proposes a model that can be applied in diverse educational realities, preparing future educators and learners for a world where collaboration becomes increasingly essential. It emphasizes the importance of an approach that promotes cooperation as a central value in individual development, reinforcing the idea that the educational experience is collectively shared. Active methodologies in promoting cooperation among students in the educational environment were employed. A bibliographic and documentary methodology was used for the descriptionof this article.
