Abstract: The text discusses Edmund Husserl's transcendental phenomenology, emphasizing phenomenological reduction (epoché) and the distinction between natural and transcendental attitude to explain the conditions under which phenomena appear to consciousness. It delimits the "pure Ego" as a transcendental instance of unification of experiences and constitution of meaning, articulating it with the intentionality and immanent temporality of experience. In the psychological field, it brings phenomenological psychology closer to the understanding of the lived world, privileging the description and listening to the meanings attributed to experiences, even in adverse conditions. Then, it relates these foundations to the phenomenology of the triplicity of the Ego and personality, dialoguing with Heidegger, Jung and Heindel, it also establishes connections with classical references (Aristotle and Plato) and with neuropsychological discussions on dissociation and mind-body integration, arguing that the phenomenological perspective broadens the investigation of the modes of experience and the formation of consciousness.
