• Abstract:

  This article examines the political trajectory of Mailza Assis, from her performance as a senator to her rise as one of Acre's main political leaders and a strong candidate for governor in 2026. The research explores her capacity for political articulation, leadership in facing crises and her achievements as a defender of women's rights. Mailza has become one of the most relevant figures in Acre's politics, transforming herself from an "improbable in politics" to one of the strongest candidates for the 2026 election.
