Abstract: A numerical analysis of the transverse load distribution in a bridge deck composed of multiple reinforced concrete girders was carried out using two distinct approaches. The first was based on the Fauchart method, which employs a simplified planar formulation considering the longitudinal and transverse stiffness of the girders. The second involved a spatial grillage model implemented using the TQS software (full version). The results obtained from both methods were compared to assess their differences and applicability.
