DISEÑO TÉCNICO DE RECURSOS COMO ANIMACIÓN DOCUMENTAL. UN CASO DE ESTUDIO: LA FRONTERA QUE UNE. EL ORIGEN DE LAS TIERRAS DE ‘LOS MANUEL’
Con motivo el ‘Congreso de historia 1244-2019: origen del estado de los Manuel y del
775 aniversario de la frontera entre los reinos de Valencia y Murcia’ y en colaboración directa, la Universidad de Murcia produce el documental ‘La frontera que une. El origen de las tierras de los Manuel’ (2019), obra que reconstruye mediante recreaciones de animación los pasajes que contextualizan los eventos previos y posteriores al Tratado de Almizra así como la creación del estado de los Manuel. Este texto expone una propuesta basada en la experiencia sobre creación de documentales. El objetivo es compartir una serie de planteamientos que forman la base del diseño y concepción de un tipo de documental que utiliza la animación como herramienta técnico-artística innovadora para la (re)construcción de pasajes narrados a partir de testimonios de especialistas.
El artículo se compone de tres partes: en una primera se expone una aproximación a las bases del cine documental, en una segunda parte, se ponen de relieve los planteamientos de teóricos y cineastas documentales que definen el contexto teórico y el potencial de la animación documental, planteando en la tercera parte, un resumen de la producción documental ‘La frontera que une”.

Abstract:
On the occasion of the 'Congress of history 1244-2019: origin of the state of Manuel and the 775th anniversary of the border between the kingdoms of Valencia and Murcia' and in direct collaboration, the University of Murcia is producing the documentary 'The bonding frontier. A history of the Manuel Family Lands’ (2019), a work that reconstructs through animated recreations the passages that contextualise the events before and after the Treaty of Almizra as well as the creation of the state of Manuel. This text presents a proposal based on the experience of documentary filmmaking. The aim is to share a series of approaches that form the basis of the design and conception of a type of documentary that uses animation as an innovative technical-artistic tool for the (re)construction of narrated passages based on the testimonies of specialists.
The article consists of three parts: the first part presents an approach to the foundations of documentary film, the second part highlights the approaches of documentary theorists and filmmakers who define the theoretical context and the potential of documentary animation, and the third part presents a summary of the documentary production 'The bonding frontier'.
