Abstract: Applying an anthropological and intersectional perspective to self-organized, community-based bottom-up care experiences, the authors investigate strategies implemented to respond to collective needs. These initiatives are framed at the economic and political level as practicable alternatives to institutional responses that are not always present or accepted. The decolonial perspective is applied to underline the ordinary pervasiveness of inequalities that determine possibilities to access care services based on ethnocentric criteria. The article attempts to reveal the moral order behind decisions to organize collective care in relation to eco/trans/feminist revendications, contextualized in discontinuity with the dominant conceptions of collective health and well-being.
