Abstract: The speed of adoption of digital technologies, as well as the increase in global connectivity, allows online consumer behaviors and habits to evolve in emergent ways. The incorporation of digital devices into everyday life invites personalization, convenience and immersion in digital services. This article presents highlights about some of the habits of digital consumers, including preferences for news, home delivery services, digital banking, and online shopping. Applying a quantitative approach to a sample of 1,303 Salvadorans, different interactions with the digital world are discovered. The main finding reveals that the constant accessibility to information and digital services has altered behaviors and habits of interaction and transactions, redefining concepts of efficiency and convenience. There is no way to predict consumer behaviors, but its study and understanding is valuable to integrate strategies that allow them to meet their needs and demands.
