COMPARISON OF H/V MEASUREMENTS WITH STRONG MOTION RECORDS AT ACELOROGRAPHIC STATIONS IN BOGOTÁ AND ESTIMATION OF DYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF THE SOIL PROFILE

El presente articulo muestra los resultados de mediciones de sísmicas de ruido ambiental en dos sitios puntuales de la ciudad de Bogotá donde se tienen registros de perforaciones hasta la roca y estaciones de acelerómetros en roca y en superficie. Los resultados de las mediciones obtenidas, en términos de las relaciones espectrales HV (HVSR), son comparadas con las funciones de transferencia medidas para dos sismos de fuente intermedia registrados en las estaciones símicas, para la obtención de la frecuencia fundamental del depósito. Adicionalmente la información de las mediciones HVSR permiten estimar las propiedades dinámicas promedio del depósito mediante inversión de la curva HV obtenida de las mediciones.

  • Abstract:

    This article shows the results of seismic measurements of environmental noise in two specific sites in the city of Bogotá where there are records of drilling into the rock and accelerometer stations in rock and on the surface. The results of the measurements obtained, in terms of the HV spectral relations (HVSR), are compared with the transfer functions measured for two intermediate source earthquakes recorded at the seismic stations, to obtain the fundamental frequency of the deposit. Additionally, the information from the HVSR measurements allows the average dynamic properties of the deposit to be estimated by inverting the HV curve obtained from the measurements.
