Abstract: The objective of this study is: relationship between quality of work life and professional competence in healthcare personnel of the Corrales health Micro network. Non-experimental, descriptive, correlational quantitative study, where 137 healthcare professionals from the Corrales health micro network. Two instruments were applied: Quality of Work Life Inventory and Work Skills Questionnaire. The results show that the staff's level of working life generates satisfaction in 51.8% (71) and dissatisfaction in 48.2% (66). In the social well- being dimension, 81.0%(11) are satisfied; psychological well-being 85.4% (117) and biophysical well-being 75.2% (103). The professional competencies of the healthcare personnel of the Corrales-Tumbes Health Micro network are 86.9% (119) in process; competent in 8.8% (12) and not competent in 4.4% (6), in the knowledge competence 69.3% are in process, only 23.4% (32); Furthermore, in the competence of knowing how to do, 55.5% (76) are competent, however, in the competence of knowing how to be and knowing how to be, 99.3% (136) are not competent. The study concludes that there is a relationship between work life and professional skills in the healthcare personnel of the Corrales Micro Health Network; p= 0.001 p > 0.01 95% CI.
