A bioética é uma área de conhecimento que reflete sobre dilemas morais, sendo moldada por acontecimentos nos últimos 100 anos. Com a sociedade moderna surgiram tecnologias emergentes que levantam discussões sobre como assegurar os princípios da autonomia, beneficência, não maleficência, equidade e justiça. Foram abordadas no texto as tecnologias emergentes mais significativas na área da saúde, seu significado, utilidade na área medica, fatores favoráveis e dilemas éticos e legais envolvidos. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão bibliográfica de 7 artigos sobre o tema pesquisados no Google acadêmico. No item Manipulações genéticas foram citados a reprodução humana assistida e as terapias genéticas. No item Bioimpressão e transplantes de órgãos e tecidos foram mencionados o impacto positivo na redução de filas de transplante e os riscos por se tratar de terapia experimental. No item Inteligência artificial foi exposto a necessidade de trabalhar medidas legais que preservem a privacidade, sigilo e autonomia do paciente e profissional. No item telemedicina foi mencionado seu fortalecimento após a pandemia de COVID-19 e suas varias formas de utilização, as vantagens e desvantagens. As tecnologias emergentes oferecem oportunidades de avanço e transformação na área da saúde, porém os preceitos éticos e morais devem ser considerados e respeitados sendo necessário cooperação da área médica, científica, sociedade e justiça.

  • Abstract: Bioethics is an area of knowledge that reflects on moral dilemmas, shaped by events over the last 100 years. With modern society, emerging technologies have emerged that raise discussions about how to ensure the principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, equity, and justice. The text addresses the most significant emerging technologies in the health area, their meaning, usefulness in the medical field, favorable factors, and ethical and legal dilemmas involved. This is a bibliographic review study of 7 articles on the subject researched on Google Scholar. In the Genetic manipulations item, assisted human reproduction and gene therapies were mentioned. In the Bioprinting and organ and tissue transplants item, the positive impact on reducing transplant waiting lists and the risks of being an experimental therapy were mentioned. In the Artificial intelligence item, the need to work on legal measures that preserve the privacy, confidentiality, and autonomy of the patient and professional was exposed. In the telemedicine item, its strengthening after the COVID-19 pandemic and its various forms of use, advantages, and disadvantages were mentioned. Emerging technologies offer opportunities for advancement and transformation in the health sector, but ethical and moral precepts must be considered and respected, requiring cooperation from the medical and scientific sectors, society and justice.
