Abstract: Orodispersible (COD) are solid pharmaceutical forms that dissolve or disintegrate quickly in the oral cavity, being swallowed without the need for concomitant administration of water. This study aimed to carry out physical-chemical tests on orodispersible tablet formulations containing manipulated pyridoxine, purchased in two compounding pharmacy, to assess whether they meet the quality of this pharmaceutical form. This research was carried out in the physical-chemical quality control laboratories of the Pharmacy School of the Centro Universitário Cesmac. In the methodological process, the manipulated 30mg pyridoxine samples were subjected to the following tests: evaluation of the packaging, average weight, friability, hardness, diameter and height, disintegration, dosage, pH value and dissolution according to the Brazilian Pharmacopoeia 6ed. It is concluded from the results that sample A obtained some parameters out of specification such as: coefficient of variation of the average weight, friability % above the recommended, content above the maximum variation and pH inappropriate for the type of pharmaceutical form. Sample B also obtained a coefficient of variation in the average weight outside the acceptable range, friability above that recommended, content below the minimum variation allowed and, in the dissolution, test the content was much lower than what was requested for each tablet.
