Abstract: Digital transformation has expanded the integration between physical systems, digital platforms, and intelligent models, repositioning Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Data Science as central drivers of productive and organizational change. This article analyzes the evolution of AI, including applications such as intelligent traffic flow control, which contributes to improved traffic fluidity and safety, as well as the reduction of CO₂ emissions associated with vehicles operating in idle conditions. Furthermore, it examines the convergence of AI with Big Data, IoT, and Data Science in the contexts of Industry 4.0, Agriculture 5.0, ethics in Generative AI, and robotics. The research is characterized as qualitative, exploratory, and bibliographic, based on a narrative review of scientific literature and institutional documents. The results indicate that digital value creation depends on the integration of data collection, connectivity, analytical processing, AI models, information systems, and governance. In Industry 4.0, these resources support smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance, traceability, and collaborative robotics. In Agriculture 5.0, they enhance precision agriculture, the sustainable use of resources, rural automation, and human-centered approaches. In the field of Generative AI, opportunities for decision support, documentation, simulation, and knowledge creation are highlighted, alongside ethical challenges related to bias, transparency, privacy, accountability, and security. As a contribution, this study proposes an integrated conceptual model that articulates IoT and automation, Big Data, Data Science, Generative AI, robotics, and ethical governance. It is concluded that digital transformation should be understood as a sociotechnical phenomenon in which productivity and innovation depend on technological infrastructure, human competencies, sustainability, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. Future studies are recommended on security aspects, environmental impacts, and the development of AI systems with increasing levels of autonomy.
