ANALYSIS OF STUDENT FAILURE AND DROPOUT RATES USING A WEB APPLICATION

This paper documents the development of a web-based educational monitoring system focused on the follow-up of failure and dropout rates. The project arises from the need for a technological tool that allows educational institutions to efficiently manage academic information and make informed decisions to improve student performance. To achieve this goal, a detailed analysis of the system requirements was carried out, considering the specific needs of the users and the best practices in software development. The project was developed using modern technologies such as Angular for the frontend and Node.js, Express and MongoDB for the backend. These tools were selected for their ability to handle large volumes of data and provide a smooth and efficient user experience. On this occasion, a comprehensive view of the development process of the educational monitoring web system is presented, from the conception of the idea to the final implementation and testing . It is hoped that readers will be able to understand and evaluate the results obtained, as well as replicate what is shown here in new projects.
