Abstract: Burnout Syndrome (BS) is a chronic illness of psychological conditions, characterized by a feeling of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and a feeling of low personal accomplishment. Like most work-related mental illnesses, BS has a slow and gradual progression, generally caused by high intensity occupational stress, whether physical or emotional, and can be prolonged and difficult to treat. Burnout Syndrome can be found in any profession, however, it is clear that it is more common, especially among professionals in education, health, military, human resources, prison guards and women, who face double working hours. The present work's research methodology was the bibliographic review of factors related to chronic disease - Burnout Syndrome and the use of health work tools, such as: health management, care models and data analysis. With the aim of understanding and understanding the benefits of using these health care tools, whether in the prevention or treatment of diseases, especially chronic ones, which require long and continuous treatments. Thus, it is concluded that, for the effectiveness of disease prevention or treatment, especially chronic diseases, it is necessary to adopt health care tools, which are resolutive and continuous, providing the assisted patient with assertive treatments, transparency of actions, better forms of prevention and better quality of life.
