Abstract: The increasing complexity of healthcare systems demands effective strategies to ensure quality and patient safety. This article is based on the hypothesis that hospital accreditation directly contributes to improvements in hospital management, quality management, and healthcare service quality indicators. Accreditation emerges as an essential tool in this context, promoting standardization, efficiency, and institutional trust. The objective of this article is to analyze the impacts of hospital accreditation on quality management and healthcare service quality indicators. A bibliographic review method was used, with a qualitative analysis of recent national publications, including authors such as Novaes (2021), Costa et al. (2021), Silva et al. (2021), and Mastelli and Dallora (2021). The results indicate that accreditation strengthens an organizational culture focused on continuous improvement, reduces adverse events, promotes greater adherence to clinical protocols, and enhances the monitoring of quality indicators. However, challenges such as resistance to change, operational costs, and structural limitations were identified. It is concluded that when integrated with evidence- based management practices, accreditation serves as an effective mechanism for qualifying and sustaining care quality, with positive impacts on hospital management and the improvement of quality indicators.
