ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION AND THE EFFECTS ON THE INTERRELATIONSHIP OF HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT
This study addressed the impacts of air pollution on the environment and human health, based on a literature review. The results indicated that exposure to air pollution is associated with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, in addition to causing damage to the environment. To minimize these effects, it is necessary to adopt public policies and behavioral changes that aim to reduce air pollution and its negative impacts.
