A participação da família no ambiente escolar tem sido amplamente discutida no campo educacional devido à sua relevância para o desenvolvimento integral dos estudantes e para a melhoria do rendimento acadêmico. Nesse contexto, a presente pesquisa aborda a relação entre família e escola, destacando a importância da parceria entre essas instituições no processo de ensino e aprendizagem. O objetivo do estudo foi analisar a importância da participação familiar no ambiente escolar e seus impactos no rendimento acadêmico dos alunos. A metodologia adotada caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativa e natureza descritiva, realizada por meio da análise de livros, artigos científicos, periódicos e documentos relacionados à temática. Os resultados evidenciaram que o acompanhamento familiar contribui significativamente para o desenvolvimento da aprendizagem, favorecendo a motivação, a disciplina, o compromisso com os estudos e a construção de hábitos educacionais positivos. Em contrapartida, a ausência desse acompanhamento pode ocasionar dificuldades relacionadas ao desempenho escolar, à participação nas atividades acadêmicas e ao desenvolvimento socioemocional dos estudantes. A pesquisa também destacou que estratégias como reuniões pedagógicas, projetos de integração e o uso de tecnologias de comunicação fortalecem a aproximação entre família e escola. Conclui-se que a participação da família representa um elemento fundamental para o fortalecimento do processo educativo, contribuindo para melhores resultados acadêmicos e para a formação integral dos alunos. Assim, torna-se necessário que escola e família mantenham uma relação baseada no diálogo, na cooperação e na responsabilidade compartilhada, favorecendo uma educação mais inclusiva, participativa e de qualidade.

  • Abstract: Family participation in the school environment has been widely discussed in the educational field due to its relevance for the overall development of students and for the improvement of academic performance. In this context, the present research addresses the relationship between family and school, highlighting the importance of the partnership between these institutions in the teaching and learning process. The objective of the study was to analyze the importance of family participation in the school environment and its impacts on students' academic performance. The methodology adopted is characterized as a bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach and descriptive nature, carried out through the analysis of books, scientific articles, journals, and documents related to the topic. The results showed that family involvement contributes significantly to learning development, promoting motivation, discipline, commitment to studies, and the construction of positive educational habits. On the other hand, the absence of this monitoring can lead to difficulties related to school performance, participation in academic activities, and the socioemotional development of students. The research also highlighted that strategies such as pedagogical meetings, integration projects, and the use of communication technologies strengthen the connection between family and school. It is concluded that family participation represents a fundamental element for strengthening the educational process, contributing to better academic results and the comprehensive development of students. Thus, it becomes necessary for school and family to maintain a relationship based on dialogue, cooperation, and shared responsibility, promoting a more inclusive, participatory, and quality education.
