Abstract: Globalization and digital culture have profoundly transformed consumer behavior and global consumption patterns, reshaping the economic and logistical dynamics of international trade. Short-lived digital trends driven by algorithms and social networks generate consumption microcycles that directly affect import and export flows. This study analyzes how these cycles impact Brazilian foreign trade, supply chains, and purchasing power, based on bibliographic research and recent studies (SILVA, 2023; VENÂNCIO, 2023; RENTES, 2024; CARDOSO & REIS, 2018). By examining cases such as the “morango do amor” dessert, the Labubu doll, and platforms like Shein and TikTok Shop, it investigates how viral products challenge logistical predictability and influence tariff policies and bilateral trade agreements. The article highlights the strategic role of Brazil and Latin America in global value chains and reflects on consumption, cultural standardization, and economic policy in the digital globalization context.
