Through action-research with the fable The Cicada and the Ant, it is considered possible to enter the universe of municipal primary school students in a country town, making a contribution towards enabling them to develop their reading and interpretation skills, perceiving new versions within the same fable, entering into current concepts, ensuring involvement and protagonism by adapting to reality.
