Abstract: This article analyzes the importance of neuroscience in teacher education, highlighting the neuropsychopedagogical foundations that support an inclusive and evidence-based educational practice. The research was developed through a systematic literature review including 28 works published between 2002 and 2025, selected from national and international academic databases. The study revealed that understanding brain functioning and the cognitive and emotional processes underlying learning is essential for improving pedagogical practice. Results show that teachers trained in neuropsychopedagogy tend to adopt more effective, empathetic, and student-centered strategies, particularly in diverse and inclusive educational contexts. Findings also indicate that neuroeducation strengthens socio-emotional skills and executive functions, fostering a more equitable and humanized school environment. It is concluded that integrating neuroscience into teacher training is a crucial step toward a transformative education that recognizes individual learning differences and promotes meaningful learning experiences. Further empirical studies are recommended to assess the impact of neuropsychopedagogical training on teaching mediation and to inform public policies aimed at continuous teacher education within this interdisciplinary framework.
