Abstract: The training of contemporary teachers faces challenges and opportunities with the integration of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs) in education. From the perspective of Paulo Freire's critical pedagogy, this article analyzes how TDICs can be incorporated into teaching practices in a dialogical manner, promoting students' autonomy and critical awareness. This research, with a qualitative approach and theoretical-documentary character, is based on Freire's classical works and recent studies on the use of TDICs in education. It is argued that teacher training should go beyond technical mastery of digital tools, prioritizing a reflective and problematizing practice capable of transforming the classroom into a democratic space for knowledge construction. It is concluded that the integration of TDICs, when aligned with Freirean principles, enhances the emancipation of subjects, making technology a means to strengthen dialogue and criticality in teaching.
